Composer Guitarist Producer
Adventures are to the adventurous … and Carl Carlton has had quite a few of them. It has been a while since Carl Carlton left the far northern region of Germany called Frisia to explore the world beyond and play in some of the most successful rock bands in Europe and the U.S. Not just an extraordinary talented guitarist, Carlton has also taken successfully on the roles of songwriter, composer, musical director and producer. In 1999, inspired by friend and mentor Robert Palmer, Carlton added the role of bandleader to this list by forming his own band „Carl Carlton & the Songdogs“ – a fascinating melting pot of diverse nationalities and roots music styles.
